The Fischer Speedmax Helium Skate Plus is the latest from Fischer's elite level race skate ski development program. Still with the Cold Base Bonding and Fischer's standard setting quality control, the Helium keeps most of the camber concepts from the highly regarded Speedmax 3D; the new DK/611 construction has flex pattern and pressure distribution that can provide competitive speed in almost any condition. The core construction is more similar to the Carbonlite skate skis - this brings the weight down to a remarkable 950g per pair (in 186cm). 

  • Gliding sidewall is slick and add speed, especially in soft and wet conditions
  • Liquid paraffin glide wax can be added to sidewall to increase performance
  • Cold Base Bonding creates a base material that can accept wax more effectively
  • IFP plate accepts Turnamic bindings only. Bindings not included
